Sometimes you just can't get inspired, sometimes you just don't have the energy or the time, or maybe even just forget about things...
My writing has been a very sporadic thing, and I know that when I try to pressure myself into writing, I will most likely just stare at the blank space until I just can't anymore.

Sometimes you meet people, inspired people.. and that inspiration passes over to you, which is one of the reasons I now sit here, writing again.

I could probably write a bigass post about what has happened since...
5th of April last year (when I last updated this blog), but I won't...

I will shorten it into the following sentences:
2009 was a year when I opened up to love again (the girl who got my valentines choclate), got rejected (though never definitly) until my love for her died of natural causes during the winter (in a very non-dramatic way).
It was also a year when I worked alot with my social life, started going out partying more, meet more people,
talk to people whom I wasn't sure would accept me.
It was a year when I didn't get much done in terms of geekyness (only visited one convention, didn't LARP a single time (though I prepared for many xD), didn't read much books or watch much anime)
but did do alot for geek-societies
(though I got too invloved in way too many boards)
I started school again (general studies to prepare for Uni) through wich I had my first travel outside scandinavia ^_^
(went to Hamburg with my english class)
It was a good year, with many experiences both good and bad.
A year where personal growth has been going strong.

2010

2010 started out perfect, some people I first met at a club
(or rather on the tram on the way to a post-club party)
became really good friends of mine, they still introduce me to alot of new people and places
(since they are abit more outgoing than me)
I have left almost all societyboards (all exept one, as well as becoming part of a new one) so that I now have more time to actually enjoy things ^_^
I have slowly (but steadily) gotten more selfesteem as well as becoming more outgoing, though I still tend to blame my earlier experiences (or lack thereof in some cases) for my introversion it feels good to know that I can pull my self out of it and be stronger.
I have now moved out of my mothers, got an apartment just a month ago with a friend of mine.

Next post will be about my latest travel

well, that new years resolution sure did fail quickly >.<
uhmmmm, it is now that I'm finally trying to update again that I realise how much that have actually happened so far during the year.

made some chocolate for Valentines ^_^

I also realise I never actually showed what I did cosplay as, so here it is.

well, I've been looking for a job, went to some classes in "getting a job", I've been elected as secretary for my anime club, started a gaming club, gotten elected as secretary for said gaming club, I've played lots and lots of Street Fighter 4.

I miss my additional ~15 cm of hair, it feels so short now TT_TT

Going on a LAN mon-fri, might go to another one fri-sun xD

and to make up for that I'm going to update at least once a week from now on, and have a goal of updating daily ^_^
Last year ended with a bang, now to see if 2009 can keep up :D

Just started watching ef - a tale of melodies ^_^

So far I've only seen two eps but I'm kind of getting the feeling
that it's not going to be as good as tale of memories.
It seems too reliant on flashbacks this time around, which detaches
you from the storyline and makes it feel clumsy, it still have some
of the animation goodies they had in tale of memories aswell which
keeps it up for me so far. It seems that this season will deal with
the relationship between Yuu and Yuuko, who in tale of memories was
more like mysterious guiding sidecharacters so it's fun to finally
get some backstory to them, but it's annoying that it comes in the
way it does: short flashbacks.
The music so far is ok, not as good as in memories.
I'll still watch it though and later make a review when it's finished

Other than that I reinstalled Fallout today ^_^
I was thinking that I'll play through fallout 1+2 and Arcanum since
It was a while since I played them :D
Tomorrow it seems that I'll be getting materials for a cosplay that
I'll wear on tuesday on the animeclubs cosplay parade
(promotion event for the gameweek so game related costumes has been
reguested) I've decided on the game but not entirely on the
character yet... you'll see on tuesday xD

H2O - Footprints in the sand

I finished watching H2O yesterday ^_^
so here's a review!

This anime feels very close to ef - a tale of memories
(which has a new season currently airing, got to take a look at that one later :D)
It's based on a eroge, which shows quite much throughout the series,
yet like with ef, I found the characters are really interesting.
the sad part is, if I'd describe what I think makes them interesting
I'd also spoil it alot >.<
I can say as much as they all have interesting backgrounds without spoiling atleast, and while the music and animation wasn't as good as ef-memories the story was really gripping me in very much the same way.

"After a series of unfortunate events, the young Hirose Takuma was rendered blind. In an attempt to reverse his condition Hirose moves in with his uncle in a rural village, and upon his arrival he quickly begins to make new friends. However, Hirose soon discovers that one of his classmates, Hayami Kohinata, is being harshly bullied by her peers for reasons that neither she nor anyone else wants to explain. Even the seemingly honest and gentle Hinata Kagura, who had been doing her best to be friendly and helpful to Hirose since his arrival, acts harshly towards Hayami. Once a mysterious girl bequeaths Hirose with a life-changing gift, he takes it upon himself to help save Kohinata from her loneliness while working to uncover the truth of the situation."

I guess you could describe it as a mix between ef-memories and higurashi, but with much less gore and psychos.

Detroit Metal City

I've been watching Detroit Metal City (or DMC) for a while now.
It's about a timid young guy who wants to play trendy popmusic and moves to Tokyo, where he instead gets recruited as singer/front figure of the deathmetal band DMC which gets insanly popular... hilariousness ensues! xD
by now it's been 10 episodes of 14 minutes each.
It's a "randomness comedy" which means you don't get bothered by the short episodes, since it's built up by really short stories, which makes me think of lucky star which however had a good reason to be split up that way (Lucky Star manga being a 4koma)
Anyhow it's really good and I recommend it to anyone and everyone ^_^
better review will come when the anime is finished...

Edit: just checked the DMC manga and it has really short chapters aswell (not 4koma short though xD) might pick up on reading it actually ^_^.

Gameweek coming up

I Sweden we have something called "the national gameweek"
organised by SVEROK (SVEriges Roll- Och Konfliktspels förbund (=SWEdens Roleplaying- And Conflictgames society))
which basically means that all over the country gaming associations are holding public events to promote gaming and recruit new members as well as getting the hobby out in medias etc.
This year it's week 44 (27th of October to 2nd of November)
and I'll be holding MtG events, UFS events and more for the anime club (which is also a gaming association) and tomorrow we will have a planning meeting ^_^

Today I played some Resident Evil Roleplaying game again :D
went quite good and it was really fun to get back to that character ^_^
on the anime front not much has happened since I've been afk for most of the day, I did however get to try out my new magic deck with satisfactory results xD
also made some modifications on my UFS deck... haven't gotten to try it out yet though >.<
anyhow I've forgotten where I was going with this post... so I'll just go to sleep now xD

Anime Review: Code Geass

Today I finished watching Code Geass season 2 ^_^
I will however review the series as whole, since that makes more sense to me.
If you've read/watched Death Note you might recognice the main setup:
Very intelligent highschool boy who dislike the state of the world gains mystic power as well as mysterial companion, plots to change the world, battles ensues.
However he has much more character than Yagami Light such as having a personal reason to change the world, a more versatile power (though with a heavier condition).
While the main theme of Death Note is basically
"is killing ok if it's to change the world to a better place?"
I'd say the main theme of Code Geass is basically
"Power corrupts, but also makes the powerless rise to gain it"
unlike in Death Note most characters have alot of depth put into them, aswell as featuring a larger set of recurring characters.
Code Geass also have some elements of mecha, (such as the fact that most battles are fought with giant robots) but more in the style of FMP, where they still play a quite minor role as compared to the character relations.
While it maintains a lighter side to it with a highschool/comedy element it also puts a dark shade over it all as the series progress, shattering relations and in many cases scarring the characters.
very much like FMP had Fumuffo CG has the start of season 2 being very non-serious and full of fanservice, though later it picks up again to become really good.
The best description I can give of this series is probably
"2/5 FMP + 2/5 Death Note + 1/5 Gankutsou"
Something really interesting is that the ending of the first season could very well have been the end of the whole series (though not as finite as the second seasons)

Today I found out that my external HD is terminally broken
Which means I've lost all my music, anime, manga and various other files.
and I can't afford a new one either so I'll have to manage with the 60GB my internal HD has... (compared to the 500GB on my external >.<)
also made a new Magic deck, since I missed the Shards of Alara pre-release and release events (for the first time since Ravnica)
I went and bought a preconstructed deck and a booster
(which with the new packages meant a 41 card precon and two boosters)
went with the Jund shard... which ended in a bit of despair when I open my boosters and find a Godsire and a Behemoths herald in them...
anyhow after some tweaking I now have a Jund deck ^_^
I really like the setting of this set, since I'm very Vorthos like ^_^
and find the flavour of each shards connection to the color pie interesting.
much like I still love the Ravnica block for it's flavourful color depiction.

anyhow.. I feel like I should write something non-magic related stuff too, since I know I can get quite excited when talking about games I like xD

I have decided to keep enough space on HD free to always have one anime series to watch, though since I lost my collection I've picked up a new watching order.
I'll watch through my "watching" list at A-P in alphabetical order for starters then move on to my want-to-watch list and go on recs from thereon.

So I'm currently watching Code Geass season 2

Con report day 3

This time I actually got to sleep until 10 :D
then I unwinded all the controllers, turned all the TVs and consoles on, and played some SF3:third strike ^_^
Soon the room was filled with attendants and I had to go to work again.
Since I knew the tournament bracket program I had to take entries for the SF3 tournament until it started, as well as putting in the results while taking entries for the revived GuiltyGear tournament.. wich however died again due to lack of entries >.<
after the SF3 tournament I was finally going to hold the UFS tournament... wich got canceled since it only had one entrant >_<

So I went back to doing my job again :D

Con report day 2

This was probably the most busy day I had.
Up at 9 to start up the videogame room, unwind all the controllers etc.
Ate 3 mazarin buns and drank a bottle of Dr. Pepper for breakfast.
Went to guard the dormitory 11 to 14 but was there until 15:45
Came back at 16 at wich I had to take care of the SSBB tournament and the Guitar Hero tournament at the same time, while also taking entries for the Magic tournament I was going to hold at 20. I was also supposed to hold a GuiltyGearXXAC tournament at 18 wich was however canceled due to malfunctioning disc.
The Magic tournament however went well ^_^
and I finally felt that at least ONE of my tournaments didn't have an accident :D

Con report day 1

Since I'm crew I got there 4 hours before opening just to realise there was alot of work to be done despite most of the crew being there the day before to work out the major stuff.

Assembled a party tent, rigged the DDR room, general stressing to get the first tournament I'm arranging to work/have anywhere to be.
Then just as we're done it's time to open :D
Had to move the first tournament due to bad timing, resulting in no registrations so it'll go to the last day instead.
Then I worked at the videogameroom, changing games for people, fixing technical problems etc. had to cancel the Guilty Gear tournament due to bad disk.
worked some more in the videogame room, and heard luggage storing needed help, so I want there to help for 'bout 30 minutes.
Then back to the videogames until we closed, and I was put on guard duty for the café (meaning sleep in the café locking yourself in).
Bought a Horo figure and a h-manga cheap ^_^

ate two kinds of Pocky I haven't eaten before too :D
Dessert Banana, and Blueberry flavour ^_^

One hour to my Birthday ^_^

Doing some planning for a con this weekend, Hikari-con.
Which is the first con that I'm in the planning group of ^_^
going to hold some tournaments and general helping :D
Started reading up on Shadowrun 4th ed. preparing to GM a campaign

Doomsday is a sci-fi post-apocalyptic action movie from 2008
The general set-up is: In Scotland there was a epidemic of the
fearsome "reaper virus". the British government decides to quarantine the whole country by basically rebuilding the hadrian wall, but 30 feet high, and then turn their back on the problem.
Until it breks out in London 27 years later that is...

This movie has it all: Cannibalistic punks, Medieval dawinists,
hot girl with guns, explosions, blood, sword fights.
I love it :D

Ginban Kaleidoscope
Ginban kaleidoscope is about a japanese female figure ice-skater
who during a competition gets possessed by the ghost of a
canadian male aerobatics pilot, who feels and sees everything that she see or feel for 100 days.
Realizing that there's no way fight against the situation, Tazusa and Pete work together to give their best performance in figure skating
while trying to get into the olympics.

In the beginning I thought it was abit boring actually, but the more I watched the more I liked it ^_^
and at the end I thought it was really good. :D

Mega Happy ^_^

Today I made a really sweet deal ^_^
I traded some UFS cards and helping a guy build his deck
(UFS is a collectible card game named Universal Fighting System)
for the first Megatokyo book :D

for those who don't know, MegaTokyo is the first webcomic I started to read, and I'm still reading it ^_^
it's also my favorite webcomic, of the about 20 I'm currently reading
and I've felt that even if I have three t-shirts and a pack of buttons
I still don't have any of the books...
today that was fixed, which makes me mega happy :D
it's really fun to read the beginning again, and with added comments
from Gallagher it's even better than I remebered it to be and there is
also the whole "early sketches" section and stuff like that ^_^

tomorrow I'll be roleplaying again ^_^
Warhammer 40k Dark heresy, starting by recreating our characters since the sheets have been lost >.<
on the upperhand of that, it seems my psyker will lose some insanity in the process... which is a big thing seeing that I'm almost famous in the group for my repeated failing in sanity checks xD

Just realised I havn't updated for 2 weeks...

lately I've been doing nothing at all mostly...
becoming more and more of a hikky :(
today I overslept for going to to the employment agency... again.
also went to the anime club... or so I thought until I realised

Have also finished watching Gankutsuou now so here's a review ^_^

Gankutsuou
It's a really good anime based on the classical novel
"The count of monte cristo" by Alexandre Dumas
But in an interesting sci-fi environment that somehow keep
connected to nineteenth century France despite spacetravel and
a festival on the moon.
The animation is quite special, but I enyoyed it alot ^_^
as for the story, if you haven't read or seen the count of monte cristo
it's a dark story of love, hate, greed and revenge.

Overall 9/10

Today is my roommates birthday ^_^
So we made him a caek!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Somewhat of a review of Requiem from the Darkness should be fitting
since I mentioned it earlier ^_^

Requiem from the darkness is about a wandering writer named Momosuke
who collects ghost stories while traveling, and through a twist of fate
ends up experiencing different ghost stories firsthand.
throughout the series the viewer as well as the writer gets a
sightseeing through the darkness of the human mind/soul helped by
the mysterious talisman seller Mataichi and his companions
Ogin the puppeteer and Nagamimi the shapeshifter.
I really liked the visual style of this anime, it's quite unique and
almost makes you believe you're watching a moving painting.

Ít is based on the "Kōsetsu Hyaku Monogatari" novels
by Natsuhiko Kyogoku
who's work is often labled as yōkai novels, though the yōkai themself
seldom show up except as manifestations of the criminal mind.
sadly there are no translated works of his published yet...
but The Summer of the Ubume will be
published by Vertical in April 2009.

Not really scaring though it's a horror anime
but still really good (especially if you like ghost stories) ^_^

and on other news, yesterday I saw Godzilla (the one from 1954)
It was quite good, despite "movie bogus-science" and a quite
anti climatic ending, what's really interesting about it though
is how it made an impact on japanese and actually worldwide
movieproduction ^_^ for an example
George Lucas have said he was inspired
by the Godzilla movie when making the special effects in Star Wars.
It also created a whole new market for special effects in Japan.
which today has led to a whole Otaku subgenre ^_^

This weekend I'll be away playing RPGs ^_^
Might update if I get ahold of internet there
but don't count on it, I've never been to that place before >.<

Teaching Magic and Figure opening #2

Today I've teached a friend of mine how to play Magic the Gathering
(though I started yesterday on the train home from the con)
He bought his first deck today however, a red-white preconstructed
(the "Battle blitz" one from Eventide)
and upgraded it with two boosters and some trades.
However I've noticed that I tend to teach others about my geek stuff whenever they don't do something that I however do... for an example I think I've teached 10+ anime geeks MtG at different anime conventions only XD
as well as organised MtG tournaments at almost every anime convention I've been at that didn't already have one
and also at every new class I've been in since I started, I've started MtG groups to play with during breaks, and then recruited more ppl to them by teaching as many as possible...

sadly, there was no internet connection available for the visitors at the con... wich means I couldn't do a day-by-day report on site

Due to procrastination, I could not participate in the cosplay competition
(since it got filled too early and I applied too late)

since it's a convention, I got them for a total of about 90 USD

I was thinking I'll open one each day to end my updates with ^^

Damn it's been long since I updated here >.<
I'm really sorry about that, so this one will probably be a big one.
First of all, a quick update on what's been happening since last time:
I've been to the employment agency, and is now searching a bit more activly.
So far I've applied to be a mailman, but got turned down
next is a café which I'll apply to tomorrow
I've been working at a fastfood stand at a "raggarträff"

I've started making my own karaoke files
So far I've made a Dia Psalma song and "Hito toshite Jiku ga Bureteiru" (the first OP of Sayonara Zetubou Sensei)
My friend who's writing the reaktor5 blog is moving in with me
which means I've changed room to a bigger one, wich we will share.
I've worked at a fastfood stand at a festival

Wich was fun ^_^ Going to start listening to Within Temptation who were there
Since I finished ef - a tale of memories, I've finished Ergo Proxy, Full Metal Panic TSR and started watching Gankutsou.

My path to becoming an otaku

First of all, I want to point in the direction of Sandbar's path to otakudom

When reading this blog I thought it'd be fun to share my own path to where I am today.
I was born in a small village called Moholm in the middle of Sweden.
In my earliest days I slept alot... and in wierd places (for example in a shoe shelf, behind the TV, under my bed).
I was quite a normal kid (well except being an allergic but whatever), played soccer and so on.
Then I moved to Skara (at the age of 6), and started to get bullied in pre-school.
As soon as I learned how to read, I was hooked... I read ALOT.
We also got a SNES during this time, which was a common way for me to pass time.
after a while we moved to Gothenburg, where I continued to get bullied through elementary school.
Here I got into Fantasy litterature by reading "Bilbo" at the age of 9.
By this time I started to get quite introverted due to the bullying, meaning I spent ALOT of time reading fantasy books.
By the age of 13 I was getting deeper into Gaming and started to hear about "roleplaying games"
When I was 15 I had read over 200 fantasy books, and became a member of a fantasy community, where I learned even more about roleplaying games..
I also went to my first convention, a gaming convention where I also played my first roleplaying game :D
This is also where I changed school to a private school, and thereby also ending my time of being bullied ^_^
In my new class I befriended some people who played Magic the Gathering, who also introduced me to Manga and Anime...
though by this time I didn't have ADSL, so I was quite limited to manga wich was easily accessed via the local library (which basically meant Ranma½, Inu-Yasha, Fushigi Yuugi, Appleseed and NGE) ^_^
at the age of 16 I went to my first anime convention, which was a whole new world of awesome... I also got ADSL during this time, which meant I started to watch more anime.
This is also when I stared to watch more "heavy" anime (such as "welcome to the NHK" "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and "Great Teacher Onizuka") due to recommendations from more experienced otakus and got more of an interest for Japanese culture and society.
I also played my first eroge around this time "Sagara Family" by ZYX (quite good company)
About the same time as I turned 18 I joined my anime club.
Later I found Anime-Planet, and from there I've been learning more and more, joined ISSUP (the International Society for the Studies of Ummm... Pervertedness)
and even later started this blog ^_^
...And thats where I am today

Anime club

It seems that alot of people I talk to are intrested in the fact that I go to an anime club at tuesday every week, mostly because they wonder what happens in one.
So today I was thinking I'd share what happens in mine ^_^

The club I'm going to is called hikari-kai (hikari = light kai = club)

and we're not strictly an anime club but more of an "East-asian-culture" club

well, this is (most of) the members of the club

anyhow... what we do at Hikari-kai...
Every week at tuesday we gather at a meeting place in the centrum of Gothenburg.
It used to be anime on odd weeks and games on even weeks, but since it has grown so much we now have both every week ^_^

We either sit and watch anime at the big screen near the clubs café (which sells stuff for non-profit prices ^_^)

Or play different TV-games in the middle room, which is also a "random socialising" room where people hang around and glomp eachother XD

then we have the Karaoke room (where people sing karaoke)
and the Dance Dance Revolution (a.k.a. videogame dancing) room
(( which is where I tend to be :P)which has good pads and a projector)
and also, we have a room where people play cardgames and boardgames and so on (where I also can be spotted quite frequently)

Oh, and I probably won't be able to update for three days, since I'm going on a roleplaying meet ^^

Just finished watching ef - a tale of memories ^_^

So, last night I was up completing ef - a tale of memories...
It's quite deep for being based on a eroge (or two actually)
touching topics such as:
what defines personality
what is love (a quite obvious topic, but anyway)
what is a dream
how far should one go to keep the image of love

The characters though being very eroge-ish had quite a lot of depth to:
(though I won't go into it too deeply, so that I don't spoil it)

Hiro Hirono
A student who is trying to make it as a mangaka, main character of the main storyline. He's quite a laidback character who takes every day as it comes.

Miyako Miyamura
A very carefree character with a dark past... a typical case of depressed person trying to hide it by putting on a mask of happiness.

Kei Shindō
Childhood friend of Hiro, with a bad case of jealousy, one of the few anime characters I've seriously wanted to kill... by strangling her with her own spine.

Renji Asō
Main character of the second storyline, a very caring person with big ideals.
(and a hairdo that reminds me of Chiaki from minami-ke XD)

Chihiro Shindō
Main female character of the second storyline, she's Keis twin and due to a tragic accident (cased by Kei I might add) have chosen to isolate herself from the world... Until she meets Renji that is...
This is my favorite character in the series BTW ^_^

Kyōsuke Tsutsumi
A player and talented photographer, who's searching to capture the fleeting moments of emotions, so that they won't fade away.

I really liked this anime, and even though it's a very obvious eroge adaption, it has several elements that separates it from the bunch, mainly the artistic touches and the psychologic/philosophic elements
RATING: 9/10
Since it's the best anime based on eroges I've ever seen

So, first of all, I'm sorry for being absent the last almost four days...
I was on a LAN with a couple of friends (the new roleplaying group) :D
It was a very retro LAN, playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Unreal Tournament 2004,
Serious Sam the first encounter, Fallout Tactics and System Shock 2. ^_^

I've started to learn how to play Immaterial and Missing Power (Touhou fighting game)
and just downloaded Scarlet Weather Rapsody (the second fighting game in the Touhou series)

Also my bicycle broke, after lending it to my brother ONCE, it broke...
Just hope it's covered by the warranty, or I'm screwed.
I've still been procrastinating the emplyment agency, but tomorrow I WILL go.

The anime front has been going slow, but I recently started watching "ef- a tale of memories" and it seems really good... Though the fact that it's based on a eroge is quite obvious XD

My oldest friend (as in I've known him since birth, and maybe even before XD ) just started a blog too (here it is)

So.. My friend graduated today... or rather yesterday.
Ofcourse this was to be celebrated, with serbian cuisine (meat with meat on top XD) and alcohol... lots of alcohol.
later, we went into town and went to another friends class's graduation party... with more alcohol, and of course dancing with random people at a dancefloor.
while dancing I heard my brother saying "that guy???, that's my little brother"
and thought: "nice, some chicks are talking about me :D"
later I heard the reason...
appearantly, I'm "the wierd dude" and that's not in a good way I'm afraid >.<

Also, what happened the day before yesterday (since I didn't post anything that day)... I bathed at a lake (first outdoors bath of the year :D ) with my new roleplaying group.. and after awhile realised there was a hole in my bathing pants... in the worst possible way >.< (=something sticking out through it...) and then going roleplaying... which first interupted by tramdriver yelling "no bicycles on the tram" meaning I had to actually bicycle my way there (which took about 30 minutes of hard work, instead of 10 minutes of rest)... The roleplaying was quite fun though, except it got kind of whacky... for example my character was dressed like this:

(and later succeeded in summoning a bunch of demons which he had no control what so ever over >.<)

anyhow.. I'm still kinda drunk atm, so there might be some editing after sobering up XD

Today has been a very good/bad day...
I have a new bicycle wich I used today = good
I forgot my waterbottle at home when going = bad
I have a lot of freetime being a NEET = good
I have nothing to do with all my freetime = bad
I started this blog 2 days ago and have already gotten readers and comments = good (thank you for reading and commenting ^^)
I'm already getting the problem of "what shall I write for today... *brainfart*" = bad
I'm getting more sleep = good
I sleep a little too much = bad
It seems my randomness has started to increase again = good/bad (your choise really :P)
It seems like I'm getting more friends IRL and online = good
I've been procrastinating the employment agency = bad
I got lots of money when graduating = good
I don't have an income, so they are dissapearing in an alarming pace = bad
I recently joined another roleplaying group = good
I think I just pissed off the GM of said group = bad

So currently my life seems like a giant Yin-Yan of good and bad stuff...
Is this what they call Karma or something???

well, as a NEET I do have free time :P so I thought I'd use it to catch up on my anime watching.
this night I finished Dennou Coil, and it was one of the most touching series I've ever watched.
Truly a BEUTIFUL end. Though unlike ani-rec Im not sure if I'd put the tag "family friendly" on it, due to later episodes... Early episodes are definitly family friendly, but I wouldn't show the last 10 or so to kids.
and as an example to how touching it is... I cried during the last episodes, and I almost can't remember the last time I cried before this...

I guess it's a good idea to start off with an introduction:
Well, I'm an otaku (nerd/geek) from Sweden known as "Jensling".
I'm writing this blog so that I can vent on different stuff that's happening, as well as to rant about being an otaku in Sweden.
The things that I nerd the most about are anime, manga, many different forms of gaming, and litterature.
Recently I graduated from upper secondary school (last friday).
Which means that I'm currently a NEET (Not currently engaged in Employment, Education or Training) :'(
meh, at least i'm not a hikikomori :D
